He made it!

On June 6th, 2020, Jacob will be officially graduating from Encore High School.

Join us in celebrating Jacob and all his accomplishments. Due to the COVID-19 and the safer-at-home order, his school will be hosting a live streamed virtual graduation combining pictures, speeches, interviews, and performances from students and staff. Here you will be able to watch Jacob's full virtual commencement ceremony in REAL TIME with us! Although, he will not be able to participate in a pyshical ceremony, we hope the virtual graduation is just as special.

Future Plans?

In the fall, Jacob will be attending Columbia College Chicago located in Chicago, IL. At Columbia, he will be majoring in Film and Television and minoring in Entrepreneurship. Jacob hopes to attain his B.A. in Film and Television to fulfill his dream of becoming a full-time film director and starting his own production company.

Dear Family & Friends,

Thank you for all the love and support everyone has showed me over the past 17 years of my life. Whether you've known me since I was a baby or we met along the way, all of you have shaped me into the person I am today.

Life is very similar to the structure of a movie. In both life and film, there is a beginning, a middle, and an end. As humans, our beginning starts at birth. From there, we grow, learn, and try figure out what exactly our place in this world is. Graduation marks the end of the beginning. Usually in a movie, this is where our hero leaves their ordinary world to begin their journey to the new world. As I graduate, I will be stepping into my "new world" and beginning my heroic journey. So this isn't the end to my story but rather just the start of the middle.

I am excited to experience life in a new city and with an all perspective. I am eager to learn and grow in my field of filmmaking and hopefully fulfill all my goals.
